The idea

In our journey alongside transformations, we always prioritize continuing education. Initially, individuals couldn't register for events independently, and we weren't particularly recognized for standalone continuing education programs. Despite this, we delivered these programs with great success and received positive feedback. Recognizing the potential for improvement, we introduced blended learning, including self-directed microlearning with the ChApp. This approach aims to enhance the learning experience by breaking down content into bite-sized pieces and incorporating more hands-on activities.

Timmermann Academy's mission: "We enable people to improve themselves, others, and organizations."

That's how the Timmermann Academy was born. We love guiding individuals on their learning journeys, sharing our expertise and enthusiasm in areas like change, communication, leadership, teamwork, and agility. While our focus is mainly on providing continuing education programs for organizations, we also offer a few open-enrolment programs for individuals to join, such as the Change Management Professional training - Living Change.

Living Change - the Change Management Professional training course

Embark on your journey to becoming a certified Change Management Professional with "Living Change". In our intensive six-month change management training course, you will gain the essential skills for successful change management and transformations from industry experts.

  • Whether you are an employee, manager, coach, consultant or trainer - in our change management course you will learn to create tangible change impact
  • 4 intensive modules in an inspiring environment ensure rapid progress in attitude, methodology and knowledge around change management, organizational development and cultural change
  • If you wish, you can apply your new skills directly in an accompanying practical project, supported by trainers and peers
  • You learn from change thought leaders who also bring experience from top strategy consultancies such as McKinsey and BCG.

Scope and dates

Being an actual do-gooder is not a status you achieve at some point. It is a continuous journey. With Living Change, the Change Management Professional training in Munich, you will design a major stage on this journey within a good six months:

  • 4 attendance modules of 3 days each
  • Optional self-directed practical project, in total approx. 12 days

Living Change begins once or twice a year with one training group at a time. Over the course of our change management training, this group grows together into a learning community that meets for 4 face-to-face modules.

The 4 modules will take place on the following dates: 

Module 1: 11-12 June 2024 (extra module 1)
Module 2: 20-22 June 2024
Module 3: 5-7 September 2024
Modul 4: 21-23 November 2024

Costs and scholarship

You make a financial contribution of € 8,400 plus VAT (currently € 9,996 gross) for all 4 modules together. All catering and conference costs as well as the support between the modules are already included in the price.

We are absolutely confident in the quality and effectiveness of our change management training program. If you are not satisfied after the first module, you can withdraw free of charge.

Therefore, the payment of the 1st module of 2.100 € plus VAT (currently equals 2.499,00 € gross) will be made separately until 3 weeks before the 1st module. If you do not withdraw after the first module, you will pay the remaining amount of 6.300 € plus VAT (currently 7.497,00 € gross) until 3 weeks before the 2nd module.

As it is of great importance to us to empower individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact, we have established the "World Changer Scholarship". The Timmermann Group covers 30% of the training expenses for exceptionally qualified participants and provides them with personalized change management coaching.

Regardless of your professional background as a consultant, manager, HR personnel, or aspiring change management coach, motivation plays a crucial role in qualifying for the scholarship.

  • Deep emotional and rational interest in change
  • Willingness to reeeally evolve: "Change starts with the person in the mirror".

We offer scholarships to individuals who strongly align with these criteria:

  • Unusually high level of comprehension and interpersonal skills
  • Top management consulting experience
  • Experience in and passion for change management
  • Willingness to commit to change management with heart and soul.

Contents and feedback

We accompany you on your way to becoming a successful change facilitator. The Living Change training takes about half a year including project work (optional). You can also participate in the 1st module separately or book it at a later time. It represents a coherent basic course.  You can find more detailed information about the contents of the training in our brochure.
