Once a year, we invite you to our Late Summer Festival. For us, this event is much more than just a pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s an opportunity to engage in personal conversations with clients, partners, and potential clients, to spark new ideas, and to give a tangible sense of how we work as a consulting firm.
Since the event is coming up again this week, we wanted to briefly look back on last year’s festival.
Many conversations centered on change, collaboration, leadership, communication, and transformation—and looming over it all was the topic of AI: somewhat intangible, yet full of potential. Many asked themselves—and us—“What does this mean for me?”
Michael Timmermann’s keynote speech on the topic “AI Is Just Another Human Being” sought to provide context and—drawing on our experience with AI transformations—outlined possible directions for development. The title alone opened up a perspective that went beyond tools, automation, and efficiency. After all, if AI is truly to become part of an organization, it’s always about people: about trust, acceptance, new routines, responsibility, and the ability to shape change together.
Thus, the topic of AI became personal and concrete that evening: not as an abstract future trend, but as a change that organizations must actively shape.
The rapid development of AI over the past year, along with the increase (or tsunami?) in economic, political, and other uncertainties, has further heightened the urgency of these issues.
Plenty to talk about, then.
For us, however, this evening is always an opportunity to showcase what we have to offer as a consulting firm—not in abstract terms, but in very concrete ways: through inspiration, discussions, shifts in perspective, and the approach we take in our work. We don’t just want to talk about change; we want to reflect together with our guests on how to regain a sense of security and how to invest in the future with maximum effectiveness even in times of shrinking budgets.
That’s exactly what makes our Late Summer Festival so special. It’s not a traditional event, but rather a space for conversations that have a lasting impact—for new perspectives, honest exchanges, and connections that can lead to collaboration.
That’s another reason why we’re already looking forward to this year’s Late Summer Festival next Wednesday.
